Session: Interoperability Stakeholders Accessing On-Ramps to the U.S. Health Data Superhighway
In 2022, the long-awaited health data superhighway is opening for trusted, secure exchange of electronic health information (EHI), making reliable data-sharing a reality for payers, providers, and patients using the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) and qualified health information networks (QHINs). TEFCA has been finalized. Yet today, there are no QHINs. So, what does this mean to established health information exchanges (HIEs), healthcare payers, providers, patients, life sciences, and other stakeholders? This session will feature expert insights, opinions, perspectives, and discussion between industry leaders working to deliver interoperability infrastructure. Attendees will be able to identify pivotal interoperability point-of-views from leading industry stakeholders representing public and private organizations working to address cohesive, secure data exchange in a fragmented world.
