School of Medicine\, will discuss the perinatal FIM program “Nourishing Tomorrow\,” and her team’s research on medically tailored groceries to reduce food insecurity and improve maternal and infant health outcomes.\nKristen McEnroe\, Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation\, will discuss a new report that highlights the benefits of local food procurement for Food is Medicine (FIM) programs.\nCathryn Couch\, Ceres Community Project\, will share findings from a pilot to improve nutrition and health outcomes for low-income pregnant women in Sonoma County\, California.\nColby Schaffer\, Incline Actuarial Group\, will share about cost effectiveness analysis for Food is Medicine programs\, including his team’s work with FreshRX OK to build the case that led Oklahoma’s legislature to pass SB806\, which directs the state to invest in FIM.
