Civitas Networks for Health® Appoints Jolie Ritzo as New Chief Executive Officer

Washington, D.C. and Portland, ME – November 24, 2025 – Civitas Networks for Health®, the national nonprofit collaborative working to improve health through data sharing and multi-stakeholder partnerships, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jolie Ritzo, MPH, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Jolie Ritzo brings over 15 years of experience in public health, nonprofit leadership, and cross-sector collaboration. She has held a range of leadership roles at Civitas Networks for Health, including Interim CEO, Vice President of Strategy and Network Engagement, and Senior Director of Network Engagement. Throughout her tenure, Jolie has led key organizational functions including strategic planning, government relations and advocacy, communications and marketing, and event strategy. She previously served as Director of Partnerships and Programs at the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI) and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Crossroads, a Maine-based nonprofit providing treatment for women in recovery from substance use disorder and eating disorders.

Over the past four years since its formation, Civitas has unified the voices of regional health improvement collaboratives and health information exchanges creating a powerful platform for organizations that are moving and using data to improve health to come together. Now, under Jolie’s leadership, Civitas will continue to strengthen its advocacy efforts, foster innovation, and grow a resilient and collaborative community.
