- #Civitas2026 Annual Conference Updates:
- Early bird registration is now open – secure your spot early to take advantage of discounted rates (prices will increase on August 8, 2026).
- Group discounts are available using codes GROUP5 (for 5 or more people) and GROUP10 (for 10 or more people) at checkout.
- Virtual preconference sessions will kick off in August – explore the sessions and register today.
- The Speaker Resource Portal is now live and was shared earlier today with speakers!

- D.C. Fly-In Recap and GRAC Updates: Karen Ostrowski provided an overview of the 2026 D.C. Fly-In, where more than 20 Civitas members participated in 47 meetings with Congressional offices. Karen also shared updates from the Government Relations and Advocacy Committee (GRAC), with next steps on ongoing federal engagement.
- Civitas Programs and Initiatives: Updates were shared across several key initiatives, including Demographic Data Element Modernization (DEMo) Initiative, Patient-Centered Data Home (PCDH) governance updates, HIE Value Series and continued member engagement, National HIO Survey progress in partnership with UCSF and ONC, and ongoing technical assistance supporting Gravity Project standards implementation.
